Here’s a quick summary of some of the things we’ve changed and why:
Refreshed Brand
It was really important for us re-establish our brand identity and showcase more of our team’s personalities. We felt the old site was too “corporate”, and just didn’t fit who we are and what’s important to us or our audience — as individuals and as a business.
You’ll notice that our new site now has a brighter style, updated logo, fonts and color scheme, and an overall more modern and user-friendly look. We find it to be so much more visually appealing, and are hoping that’s also the case with our visitors.

Updated Layout & Functionality
This was the really fun part! We worked with our designers to create a new site structure, starting with a wireframe. From there, we applied the new design, and added in more movement, and more appealing imagery to really express our brand. Cards are featured throughout, which gives us the ability to display relevant, topical content on any page, from resources to our blog posts.
Updates to the overall functionality of the site have also made it possible for us to highlight calls-to-action (CTAs), on hero banners, within various content blocks, and really anywhere we’d like, which is important for lead capture and success of our inbound campaigns.
New Features
We’ve added in a new resources section, which contains all of our video tutorials, as well as access to all of our free guides and templates, and other inbound marketing learning materials in one easy-to-access place.
We’ve also added in new case studies which showcase before and after results from some of our key projects.
New Copy
We also updated all of our site copy centered around our new tagline: “Let’s lead the rebellion”. We thought long and hard about this new branding, and it’s really important to us. We feel it aligns both with Umami’s own identity, as well as our client’s visions for the future as entrepreneurs and business leaders. As we’re all aware, technology of today is constantly challenging and disrupting the status quo, and we at Umami Marketing want to partner with our clients to constantly stay ahead of that curve.
